syncing a braille note apex under windows 7

hi all,

So I'm attempting to sync my braille note apex for the first time under windows 7 x64. I've installed keysync and the windows mobile device software. I am constantly getting an error about something not being registered on the local machine. I have reinstalled the software, run it as admin, even tried to do the same on a different win 7 x64 comp. The results are the same. Can anyone assist?

If you need a program that acts like a mediator such as active sink from microsoft, then your going to need to download what was active sink now called windows mobile device center, its something I had to learn because of my uses of windows 6.5 on a HD2 phone.
